Treatment Methods

Everyone is unique and has unique needs in therapy. I work collaboratively with each of my clients to identify their needs and use techniques and modalities that fit and work best.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps clients recognize and shift unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. In our work together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and actions are connected. I’ll guide you in developing healthier thought patterns and teach tools to help you challenge negative beliefs, reduce anxiety and depression and build more adaptive behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT focuses on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills that are especially helpful when emotions feel overwhelming or hard to manage. I incorporate DBT to help clients stay grounded through mindfulness, navigate intense emotions without feeling out of control, build stronger, healthier relationships, cope effectively during emotional crises.
Solution-Focused Therapy
We will work together on identifying your strengths, resources, and what’s working. We explore your vision of the future and take small, achievable steps to get there. You’ll leave sessions with clarity, direction, and tangible strategies. Together, we’ll build on your successes to create positive momentum.
Person-Centered Therapy
At the core of my work is a deep respect for your unique experience. Person-Centered Therapy means I meet you with empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity. You are the expert in your own life. My role is to support your growth by creating a safe, collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to move forward on your terms.

"A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity;
a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material;
a continually changing constellation of potentialities,
not a fixed quantity of traits."
